Cassidy & Matt’s Old Post Office wedding day was a dreamy day full of moments.

Getting ready at the JW Marriott Hotel in the Chicago loop, Cassidy’s sister and mom helped her with all the important details. With a little wedding day jitters, her sister knew just how to calm the nerves. Cassidy’s beaded dress with the delicate lace straps was a stunner! With her hair swept up in a romantic up-do, she was ready to see her handsome groom.

Cool and collected, Matt waited patiently on the grand staircase of the hotel to see his beautiful bride. After their first look, the couple exchanged private vows to each other. Still a little teary eyed, the couple were ready for some Chicago Board of Trade wedding photos!

Light streaming through the grand windows at the Old Post Office lobby, their ceremony setting was airy and romantic.

Before their ceremony, the couple were officially married at the Ketubah ceremony. Whiskey shots were offered to the guests to celebrate the moment. The sweetest moment was when Matt’s mom presented a coloring book from when he was little.

Cassidy looked so elegant walking down the aisle to her handsome groom. Throughout the ceremony, the bride and groom had moments of laughter and tears. After the first kiss, a bagpiper walked them out. Because it was a warm day, guests headed to the rooftop to enjoy cocktails overlooking the city. With the Sears Tower in the background, the Old Post Office rooftop is such a gorgeous backdrop for cocktails and photos.
