Sarah & Austin

Fall bridgeport art center wedding

Sarah & Austin made their Bridgeport Art Center wedding day perfectly for them.

At the Hotel Sofitel, Sarah got ready with her close family & friends. She wanted to enjoy the day in real moments as she was getting glammed up. No matching pajamas or forced smiles for this bride! She was focused purely on enjoying her day with her handsome groom.

Austin proposed to Sarah on the rooftop at the Robey Hotel. Since it’s such a meaningful place in their relationship, they wanted their first look to be at the very same spot. Overlooking the neighborhood where they live, Austin saw his bride. They way they look at each other and laugh together, it’s obvious how in love they are. After their first look, they wanted just one more stop at Museum Campus for a few photos. And when I say one more stop, that’s it! They were ready to enjoy the day and were quickly over photos.

The Sculpture Garden wedding ceremony spot is so romantic with an almost Tuscan villa vibe.

Like the rest of their day, Sarah & Austin tailored their ceremony to them. Walking down the aisle with her parents, Sarah couldn’t help but smile through happy tears. I love when couples do something extra special during their ceremony to make it more meaningful. During their ceremony, they had family and friends read sweet notes to the couple with thoughts on marriage and hopes for the future. With the Jewish tradition of breaking the glass, this couple were ready to have some fun.

“Make your own kind of music” was the song that Sarah danced with her dad. And I think this sums of their wedding day. They truly made it their own.
