North Avenue Beach & LP Pond

North Avenue is an iconic spot for a Chicago skyline engagement shoot. The curved lakefront pathway leading to the Hancock and surrounding buildings is a great spot for photos. Just a few steps away is the beach. About a 10 minute walk from North Avenue is the Lincoln Park South Pond. The LP south pond area is beautiful for greenery shots and also for the fall colors.

Montrose Harbor

Montrose Harbor has a view of the skyline, but more distant than North Avenue. The beach has a beautiful nature area with tall grass.

Fullerton Beach & Lilly Pool

Fullerton Beach has a great views for a Chicago skyline engagement shoot. With the signature wood piers jetting out from the water, it’s a unique spot. Nearby is the secluded Lilly Pool full of greenery, flowers and lilly pads floating in the pond.

Oak Street Beach

Oak Street Beach has a similar skyline to North Avenue with a close up view. The Hancock and all the gorgeous gold coast buildings in the background are a gorgeous backdrop.

Olive Park

Olive Park is a hidden treasure, near Navy Pier. It’s one of the few skyline views looking back towards the city with the lake in between. Nearby is Navy Pier which has gone through a tremendous renovation in the last couple of years.

Probably the most iconic Chicago skyline shot, the view from the Planetarium is a stunner. Museum Campus has many other beautiful spots around the Shedd Aquarium and the Field Museum.
